1.      What organic agriculture is:有機農業是什么：
v         Avoids synthetic pesticides and easily soluble mineral fertilizers避免合成殺蟲劑和易溶礦質肥料
v         Protects the environment and promotes biodiversity保護環境和促進生物多樣性
v         Produces healthy food生產健康食品
v         Recycles nutrients養分循環
v         Uses locally adapted methods.使用適合當地的方法
 
2.      Soil fertility and plant nutrition:土壤肥力和植物營養
ü       Soil fertility has to be conserved or improved應保持和改善土壤肥力
ü       Soil erosion must be avoided必須避免土壤侵蝕
ü       For annual crops, a wide crop rotation has to be used, including legumes to assure biologi­cal nitrogen fixation對于一年生作物，應使用廣泛的作物輪作，包括保證生物固氮作用的豆類
ü       For perennial crops, wherever possible, legumes have to planted in interrow spaces對于多年生作物，在可能的情況下，行間應種植豆類
